Volkswagen's recent Super Bowl ad showcased the brand's new boast that it has: "More vehicles on the road with over 100,000 miles than any other brand." The humorous ad is VW's fifth consecutive Game Day spot and, according to some of our employees at Camelback VW, perhaps one of its best Super Bowl ads yet. What do you think?

The commercial, called "Wings," takes a fact that has gained the brand bragging rights and puts a comical spin on it. In the 60-second ad, a father notices that his VW has reached an odometer milestone and tells his daughter that every time a Volkswagen hits 100,000 miles a German engineer gets his wings. This is followed by a very literal and entertaining interpretation of the father's fib. The commercial then concludes with the message that there are more Volkswagens with over 100,000 miles on the road than any other automaker.

The Game Day spot was developed by ARGONAUT, a creative agency based in San Francisco that also created "Algorithm," a teaser that gave a glimpse of what viewers could expect to see at the Super Bowl.
