What's New for the 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan?

The 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan doesn't change much from the previous year, except that it now has more standard driver safety aids available. The base model also has some additional standard features for 2024. Across the lineup, the 2024 Tiguan also gets an upgraded infotainment system. Otherwise, the Tiguan stands out for its spacious cabin and cargo area, and it's one of the few vehicles in the small SUV class with three rows.

What Are the 2024 Tiguan Trims & Features?

The Volkswagen Tiguan is available in four trims.

The base model is the S. The S has cloth seats, heated front seats, and a convenient keyless entry system and push-button start. The S contains a decent package of technology too, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a six-speaker audio system, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen display. Volkswagen's connected services are also standard, including WiFi, available through a subscription. The base model's exterior includes LED headlights, 17-inch wheels, and rain-sensing wipers.

The SE adds synthetic leather seats, and the front passenger seat has adjustable lumbar support. The second row gets a USB charging port, and the infotainment system is upgraded to an eight-inch display screen with voice control. A wireless smartphone charging pad is also included. The SE has larger alloy wheels and a power liftgate on the outside.

The SE R-Line Black gains ambient interior lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also has a unique exterior with black 19-inch wheels and a black exterior.

The SEL R-Line adds more amenities inside and out. With this trim comes integrated navigation, a Fender sound system, and a 10.25-inch digital display. The steering wheel is heated, and the seats are made of leather upholstery. The front seats are ventilated as well. Larger 20-inch wheels and adaptive headlights are exterior highlights.
