You probably know Swedish actor Peter Stormare from movies like "Minority Report" and "Fargo," as well as television appearances on "Seinfeld" and "Prison Break," but one little gem from his career you might have forgotten about were his killer VW commercials. Yes, they were so hysterical they became an Internet phenomenon when uploaded to YouTube in 2006. We've got all three of the commercials here for you to view and they're sure to put a smile on your face.

Along with Stormare, the commercials featured a German model named Zonja Wöstendiek and male actors dressed in urban attire whose cars were being un-pimped. In the videos, the pimped cars were demolished in a variety of ways and replaced with a more elegant performance car - the Volkswagen GTI. Parodying the MTV show "Pimp My Ride," a street slang-inspired tagline - VDub - was used and Stormare's character throws up a VW sign with his hands at the finale of each ad.

The commercial series was created by Crispin Porter + Bogusky and surprisingly received mixed reviews, mostly from advertising industry folks, some of whom enjoyed the ads and some of whom thought they didn't focus on the luxury side of the Volkswagen brand. Still, the commercials were hugely popular in the eyes of the public and are still popular on YouTube today. Check them out below to see why!
