Highlights for Phoenix 2015 VW Golf GTI Shoppers

EXTERIOR
The GTI's new look is more dynamic with a narrower mesh patterned grille, slimmer headlights, a new sloped hood design and a lower stance. The front fascia now comes standard with new LED foglights, while the rear gets bright exhaust tips and a unique rear diffuser. New character lines run along the sides of the GTI's sheet metal and the car's length and width are slightly enlarged for the new model year.

INTERIOR
Shoppers who check out the 2015 VW Golf GTI in Phoenix will also notice that the car offers a more upscale feel with premium materials and a clean fit and finish. A new 5.8-inch touchscreen infotainment center is the focal point of the cockpit and comes standard on all GTI models, along with heated front seats and Bluetooth hands-free phone. A new Driving Mode Selection feature is also new and gives drivers a choice of Normal, Sport or Individual settings for a more personalize ride. Additionally, due to the car's increased dimensions, the cabin offers more passenger room; it can comfortably seat five adults and has more trunk space than any midsize sedan in the U.S.

POWERTRAIN
The Golf GTI now comes with a revised turbocharged four-cylinder engine that's rated at 210 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. Compared to the previous generation, these numbers have increased from last year by 10 hp and a substantial 51 lb.-ft., yet GTI is more fuel-efficient than ever. Also under the hood, an advanced front-wheel-drive system has been introduced and reports indicate that it will underpin future VW models.
