An ardent VW fan in Bosnia named Momir Bojic created this incredible wood-covered Beetle. Check out must-see pictures of his creation now, including an image of him driving it through town!

Bojic is a 71-year-old pensioner who loves Beetles so much that he took more than two years to work on this fantastic, one-of-a-kind design. He created thousands of oak tiles in his garden workshop and used them to cover nearly every surface of an antique Beetle - from the windshield wipers, hubcaps and exterior shell to the cabin fittings, including the steering wheel and radio. Only a few parts couldn't be covered in wood, like the head- and taillights, for example.

It's no surprise that this Volkswagen Beetle turns heads every where it goes; the finished product is unbelievable and Bojic even made a matching wood-tiled hat to wear when driving the car. Just check out the photos below to see how intricate the design is. All together, it took about 50,000 pieces of oak to put this custom wooden car together.

The Volkswagen Beetle offers an iconic design that is amplified in this unique treatment. While the legendary Bug has evolved over its six-decade career, we still find great beauty in the vintage models, and this one is especially exceptional.
