On Saturday, March 14, 2015, the streets of downtown Phoenix will fill with green and gold, as the energetic St. Patrick's Day Parade & Irish Faire returns to the city. Every year, the parade offers a wonderful cultural experience that celebrates Celtic heritage, while bringing people from all walks of life together for a great community event.

The procession, which starts at 10 a.m., will began at North 3rd Street and East Sheridan Street, then travel south to East Moreland Street. It will include bagpipers, Irish step dancers, marching bands, floats, the 2015 Arizona Irish Colleen and other groups.

Following the parade, guests are invited to the 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Faire at Hance Park, right at the west side of the Irish Cultural Center, which is only a short walk from where the parade ends. The Faire is only $10 to enter for adults, and $8 for military personnel and seniors. Children 12 and under are free.

This part of the event also offers a taste of Irish culture, with traditional Irish music, dancers, food, crafts and other activities, as well as an Anam Cara (Soul Friend) exhibit at the McClelland Library, located inside of the Irish Cultural Center.
