If you or anyone you know is currently enrolled in design-related courses, Volkswagen wants your help with a new video-game concept car! Students are being asked to enter the Volkswagen Design Contest now through Aug. 15 and, if you want to partner up, teams of two are allowed to enter, as long as judges can easily identify each applicant's contributions.

Along with the concept piece, entrants must also present a "video game scenario" that shows off the functionality of their concept, like drifting or racing for example. Additionally, for those who want to dig in and choose a specialty, Volkswagen is allowing participants to submit pieces that focus on one or many of their specific talents, including: interior design, exterior design, graphic design, interface design and/or trim and color design. The brand's signature characteristics must also be present (i.e., the concepts should be easily recognized as VW products).

Once submissions closed, three winners will be selected by a jury of experts from Volkswagen Design and, in addition to possibly having their work featured in a video game, all will receive six-month internships at VW's design department in Wolfsburg, Germany!
