The all-new Passat Limited Edition supersedes the current-model-year 2015 Passat Wolfsburg and SE. Volkswagen calls the Limited Edition value-laden, as it offers an efficient engine, host of standard features and lower starting MSRP than the two trims it replaces.
The Limited Edition sits above the entry-level S trim and basically bundles the many amenities included on the Wolfsburg and SE. Standard equipment includes: a touch-screen radio, rearview camera, V-tec leatherette seats, heated front seats and keyless access/start just to name a few. Other cabin highlights include a generous 15.9 cubic foot trunk and segment-best backseat legroom.
Also standard is a turbocharged 1.8-liter TSI engine and six-speed automatic transmission, which together achieve an EPA-estimated 28 mpg combined (24 city/36 highway). Along with the efficiency you’ll receive from the powertrain setup, you’ll also appreciate the Limited Edition Passat’s German-engineered handling and driving dynamics.
The new Volkswagen Passat Limited Edition is being built right now at VW’s Chattanooga plant and it’s scheduled to arrive at our dealership soon. VW says the new trim will start at $23,995, which again is less than the starting price for both the Wolfsburg and SE. Above the S and new Limited Edition, shoppers can still select from Sport, SEL and Premium trims. Please contact Camelback Volkswagen for further details.
