We're very excited to announce that Motor Trend has awarded the new Volkswagen Golf, which they call a "Jackrabbit of All Trades," their 2015 Car of the Year. Editors said it was a "near-unanimous choice" among their panel of expert judges and that it ranked high in every one of their judging categories.
Motor Trend's jury agreed that the redesigned 2015 Golf shows off a superbly well-executed design with sleek and sporty lines. They also called the cabin refined and impressive thanks to details like premium cloth-lined door pockets, an upgraded touch-screen interface and a classic "golf-ball-styled shift knob."
Along with this, Editors expressed their adoration for Golf's precision engineering, advanced safety features, practicality and overall great value, stating, "No matter which Golf variant we jumped into, we emerged with smiles on our faces." From the TDI diesel to the all-new electric e-Golf, judges were thoroughly impressed by Volkswagen's long-running hatchback lineup.
Following its complete redesign, the 2015 VW Golf has won several awards. Come test drive the new Golf in Phoenix at Camelback VW to see what Motor Trend and other publications are raving about.
