On the current season of “Food Network Star,” the VW Passat is driving hopefuls throughout their culinary adventures. Volkswagen is once again sponsoring the show and one of the automaker’s key models – the fully redesigned 2016 Passat – is taking the spotlight to represent the brand.

At various points throughout the season, you’ll see the Passat in many segments as it’s utilized by the show’s 13 finalists, one of whom will win the grand prize of hosting their very own show on Food Network.

Many of the Passat’s features will be highlighted in the series, including its available Volkswagen Car-Net App-Connect technology, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Park Assist and Easy-Open keyless access. Keep an eye out for the redesigned sedan the next time you watch the show, which airs from May 22-July 31 on Sundays.
