The award-winning Golf SportWagen lineup has added a new member to the family, offering a fresh “value” model that slots in between the base S and midrange SE.

Dubbed the SportWagen Limited Edition, the new trim level sports a range of must-have features not expected at its price point. Some of its most exciting standard features include a Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning.

Yes – all of these features come standard on a model that’s just above the entry-level trim!

In addition, the Golf SportWagen Limited Edition includes standard leatherette upholstery, KESSY keyless access with push-button start and other high-end features like heated seats, which were previously only standard beginning on the SE trim.

Other notable technologies include Volkswagen’s latest MIB II infotainment unit with VW-Car Net App-Connect. This infotainment system is the first in the automotive industry to support all current smartphone-connectivity platforms, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.

Under the hood, the SportWagen Limited Edition is outfitted with a 1.8-liter turbocharged TSI engine with direct injection. The four-cylinder is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
