Federal EV Tax Credit & Home Charger Incentive Changes
Federal programs designed to support electric vehicle ownership are changing. The Clean Vehicle Credit, which can offer up to $7,500 in tax savings, is set to expire on September 30, 2025, unless extended by Congress. In addition, the tax credit for installing a home EV charger will end on June 30, 2026.
