Phoenix Volkswagen Dealership Reviews the New Golf
The VW Golf is one of the most well-reviewed cars on the market today. Providing a top-tier driving experience, the hatchback also offers top-of-the-line technology, comfort and safety; a winning package according to all who get behind the wheel. For its newest model year, all models of the 2016 Volkswagen Golf in Phoenix are getting more tech features, as well as a new Driver Assistance package that adds even more safety amenities to the hatchback.
The standard 2016 Golf comes in two body styles (two- and four-door hatchback) and four main trim levels (base, S, SE and SEL). Standard features on the 2016 VW Golf include 15-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, hill-hold assist, a cooled glovebox, a 5-inch touchscreen, a media player interface and cloth upholstery.
Higher trims offer even more sport and luxury, such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, HD radio, enhanced smartphone integration, automatic headlights, keyless ignition, sport front seats and ambient interior lighting.
The 2016 Volkswagen Golf GTI in Phoenix comes in three trims that offer similar features to the standard Golf. Drivers will find a few more unique standard amenities, such as all-season tires, plaid cloth upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, a 6.5-inch touchscreen and a rearview camera. For drivers who want a bit more power, many 2016 Volkswagen Golf reviews recommend the high-performance Golf R.
Under the hood, the standard 2016 Golf is powered by a 170-horsepower, turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder. The Golf GTI gets a turbocharged 2.0L four that generates 210 horsepower. The 2016 Golf R also comes with a turbo 2.0-liter four, but this version produces 292 horses.
