The Volkswagen Passat’s LATCH system was recently tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, whose researchers found that it performs excellently for those with little ones. Exceeding in all areas - from ease of use to ease of access - Passat’s LATCH system earned top ratings from the IIHS, an honor that very few other vehicle models can claim.

You probably know Swedish actor Peter Stormare from movies like “Minority Report” and “Fargo,” as well as television appearances on “Seinfeld” and “Prison Break,” but one little gem from his career you might have forgotten about were his killer VW commercials. Yes, they were so hysterical they became an Internet phenomenon when uploaded to YouTube in 2006. If you’re a typography enthusiast, you may have heard that Volkswagen recently unveiled a new typeface for its Das Auto logo. The previous font, a version of Futura known as VW Utopia (and VW Headline), has had a very long career. It was first featured in a 1960s ad created by the advertising agency Doyle Dane Bernbach (DDB). Now Volkswagen has introduced a new font that it says is “more contemporary, less geometric, and features dynamic contrast.”
