What's New for the 2023 Volkswagen ID.4?

This year, Volkswagen has updated the crossover's lineup by adding two new trim levels. While the base Standard trim gives buyers a more affordable option, the top-of-the-line Plus S Pro trim comes loaded with a number of premium luxury features. Meanwhile, all versions of the new ID.4 now receive last year's optional 12.0-inch infotainment display as standard equipment.

What Are the 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Trims & Features?

The entry-level Standard trim level is not a downgrade. Its list of standard equipment is quite impressive. VW's 12.0-inch touchscreen display with voice control can be wirelessly linked to your smartphone using App-connect. Other highlights include wireless charging, heated front seats, integrated navigation, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Pro trim level is similarly equipped. However, a larger battery pack enhances its driving range.

Folks who plan to travel to snow-prone areas will appreciate the AWD Pro trim's extra grip. It also adds a heated front windshield.

Featuring larger 20-inch alloy wheels, the S trim has an even sportier look. Interior upgrades include a panoramic fixed glass roof, 12-way power-adjustable front seats with massage lumbar, and a hands-free power liftgate. All-wheel drive is offered on the Pro S trim.

A black painted roof and silver roof rails help set apart the Pro S Plus trim. While an Area View camera system gives you a 360-degree view of your surroundings, Climatronic Touch three-zone automatic climate control takes comfort to the next stage. Other upscale features consist of heated rear seats, a premium sound system, and power-folding door mirrors with signature lighting.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 ID.4 Have?

With a total output of 201 horsepower, the ID.4's base electric powertrain is strong enough for most drivers. However, opting for all-wheel drive boosts production to a more muscular 295 horsepower. 9. EA CHARGING

3 years of included 30-minute charging sessions on the MY23 ID.4 vehicles begins upon vehicle purchase. Non-transferable. Not available for commercial use, such as ridesharing.

Requires Electrify America mobile app, account, enrollment in 2023 ID.4 Charging Plan, acceptance of Plan Disclosure, and $10 deposit to pre-fund Idle Fees and charging after 30

minutes. User is responsible for Idle Fees, which apply beginning 10 minutes after charge session stops or vehicle reaches full charge. After the initial 30 minutes of each applicable

session, charging continues uninterrupted at then-current Electrify America Pass pricing. There is a 60-minute wait-period between charging sessions in which you receive the 30

minutes of charging under this promotion. In the event of suspected fraud or abuse or other unforeseen events, Volkswagen of America may discontinue or modify the offer in its
