Mid-size SUVs rank among the most popular class of vehicles for Americans. It doesn't take much guessing to know why. Mid-size models are well-balanced between size and performance. They're usually easier to drive than longer, wider models, but they also have the edge over compact models for interior cargo and passenger capacity. Volkswagen's ID.7 GTX is an all-electric mid-size that promises to be more upscale than previous ID-series SUVs.

The 2023 VW Golf GTI, 2023 VW Golf R, 2023 VW ID.4, 2023 VW Jetta GLI, 2023 VW Taos, and 2023 VW Tiguan have all been nominated to the magazine's Editors' Choice list for 2023, according to a statement from Volkswagen.

 

At the 2023 Chicago Auto Show, Volkswagen debuted the updated 2024 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport SUVs. The outside style of the five- and seven-seater crossovers has been overhauled. They also have new wheels and a more opulent interior. The optional 3.6-liter V-6 engine has been removed. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged with 269 horsepower will take its place as the only available powerplant.

U.S. Soccer and Volkswagen announced a partnership extension. It is a multi-year deal that will see the German automaker remain the official presenter of U.S. Soccer in this partnership. It also includes the Women's and Men's National Teams, Extended National Teams, and Youth National Teams.
