Volkswagen recently unveiled its C Coupe GTE Concept at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show and sources are saying that a version of it could go into production in America. The four-door would slot between the Passat and Phaeton, and we think its sleek coupe-like styling and smart plug-in hybrid efficiency would win over U.S. shoppers.

The all-new Passat Limited Edition supersedes the current-model-year 2015 Passat Wolfsburg and SE. Volkswagen calls the Limited Edition value-laden, as it offers an efficient engine, host of standard features and lower starting MSRP than the two trims it replaces.

Volkswagen is putting an end to production of the convertible-topped Eos at its Portugal plant this coming May, meaning this is basically the last year customers have to purchase and place orders for the roadster before new inventory runs out. While it was well-reviewed by many publications and beloved by its owners, sources say Eos is being discontinued to make way for a larger, less expensive to manufacturer Golf Cabriolet, although this hasn't yet been confirmed by VW.
